Anchor points & fall arrest
Anchor points, fall arrest and recertification
Anchor points are engineered fixing points on a roof or structure that a worker's harness, lanyard or lifeline connects to. If a fall happens, the fall-arrest system stops it — but only if every anchor is correctly installed and still fit for purpose.
BAH Henneker & Co are fully accredited and licensed fall arrest system installers and recertification agents, complying with AS/NZS 1891.4:2009 Industrial fall-arrest systems and devices.
Air conditioning and height safety go together: rooftop coolers and condensers need servicing, and safe roof access is part of doing that work properly.

Good for
- Commercial and industrial buildings with roof access
- Rooftop plant such as evaporative coolers and condensers
- Building owners and facility managers with WHS duties
- New installations and recertification of existing anchors
Worth knowing
- Installed anchors need an ongoing inspection program based on AS/NZS 1891.4
- SafeWork NSW calls for annual load testing of chemical and friction anchors
- Damaged or incorrectly installed anchors must be made compliant or replaced
- Keep records of every inspection — the date matters

Follow the manufacturer's instructions and your WHS obligations.
